Off The List

I have a list and it's only in my head, and it is loaded with images that I would love to capture.
This is one of them...a drilling rig at night. I think they look so cool at night and have never
been able to find one at the right time to shoot. I have been putting in hours of Over Time
and I was coming home last night and I was treated to this rig working at night.
I set my gear up and shot 30 images just so I had a few to pick from, but this was one of the first.
So now this is "Off The List" but if I ever see one more I will shoot it.

Fabulous capture and just the right amount of light in the sky too! Rigs and industrial plants at night can make great photos, as you've shown!! Big vote!

I like that it's a wide shot. Sometimes I catch myself trying to fill the frame too much. This is a nice reminder that going wide is good too.

Nice choice Mike with the evening colours in the sky. I remember you saying this was a pending item to shoot but the stars never aligned...better by your lotto ticket next.
