The Mighty Mitchell

I know I have been gone for a few days but with just cause.
Arlene’s older brother suffered a heart attack last week.
On a moment’s notice we were off to Edmonton AB.
Only gone for the weekend we had a super visit and Bryon
is doing very well and will make a full recovery.
Visiting hours start at 10am but Bryon needs his rest
and asked us to come back Sunday at 1 P.M.
So we had the morning to kill...Arlene shopped
And I found this Air Museum just down the block.
This is a great place to spend a few hours and I took
full liberty in this place. The aircraft in side are top notch
and very well restored such as a F86 Sabre, Mosquito
and a very cool Norseman V among others.
The restoration shop is out the back and to the side and
my curiosity got the best of me. I think this may have been
the best part of the place with a Stinson , Ventura and this
beautiful North American B-25 Mitchell Bomber under full restoration mode.
So Bryon this is for you hoping for a speedy and full recovery...........

Glad to here Byron will be okay. I'll be in Edmonton the end of January to shoot a wedding! Wonderful shot but glad you were able to get out and get Arlene's and your mind off of things just for a little while. Love the perspective!

Great shot Mike. Where is this museum? I spent four years in Edmonton as an airforce photographic technician and have never been here.

Neat shot Mike. Looks like an original BCATP hangar too. All the best to your Brother-in-law.

Sorry to hear about Arlene's brother, but glad that he is going to make a full recovery. This is a great shot Mike at what looks like an interesting place to spend some time.

This is way cool. I could kill a day there.

Glad to hear your B.I.L. is doing much better. There's a lot to take in on this shot. Might make a great large canvas print for an aircraft buff.
