Here's Lookin' at Yew

Painswick Gloucestershire

Pretty Grey weather here today, with no sun and no shadows.
This was taken through an avenue of Yew tree in Painswick Churchyard

The 14th century churchyard of St.Marys church is home to, supposedly, 99 yew trees
the Devil, so legend has it, will not permit the one hundreth to grow.

The wicked side in me want to go and plant a few more in secret, just to test the legend :>
