Daff and Urn

Ampney St.Mary, Gloucestershire

We went for a walk in the Ampneys
Ampney St. Peter, Ampney St. Mary, Ampney Crucis
It said a 6 mile walk in the book,
It was so wet under foot that it was more like a 6 mile wade…
Anyway saw these daff growing in a couple of milk urns…

PS recommend "The Crown Of Crucis" good beer excellent food...

Beautiful Ian. Love the character in the old milk urns. All that rust is fantastic.

Gargening peev though - such beautiful, aged urns and they just set the plastic planters in the top instead of properly planting the daffs! grrrr.
