Replica Salt Works depicting the cairn used by Lewis & Clark to extract salt from sea water. Monument was built in 1955 by the local Lions Club. Their location was determined by a committee, based on the memory of an 86-year-old woman interviewed in 1900, who said that she was shown the spot by her Indian mom when she was a girl.
