Some shoe trees are so packed with shoes, you can't help but notice them. Others have so few shoes, they are entirely forgettable and lame. The Evelyn Schiffler Park Shoe Tree falls into this latter category. I only counted three pairs of shoes in the tree, though a local passer-by said there used to be a lot more. Makes you wonder who harvests the abandoned shoes out of a tree - used clothing store, perhaps?!
