John Fitch 1966 Chevrolet Corvair Sprint

Saratoga Automobile Museum - Saratoga Springs, New York

I thought about buying a Corvair and kind of regret that I never owned one, in spite of its reputation for tuck-under oversteer (I believe, corrected from 1965 on.) I did own a 1968 BMW 2002 and it had mild oversteer when pushed. I loved it, as you could steer with the throttle. Also, in the Army National Guard, I drove a Ford Jeep that had really heavy oversteer and it was great fun. :)

What a great car, my buddy had one of these in 1965, and we drove all over with it. V
