The original 4 World Trade Center was a 9-story low-rise office building completed in 1975 that was 118 ft (36 m) tall and in the southeast corner of the site, in Lower Manhattan, New York City... It was damaged beyond repair as a result of the September 11 attacks and was later demolished to make way for the construction of the new skyscrapers, Four World Trade Center and Three World Trade Center...
