The last gully before getting back to civilization. I took one look at it and said, no thanks. I'll hike down the scree slope I was already on top of, down to the PCT and mosey on back to Timberline Lodge. This gully looked more treacherous than any other I'd encountered today and it was the last obstacle in front of civilization for me, and I said no. At this point, I had hiked for 7 hours. I still had one to go.
