Blue skies, warm weather and the sound of families creating summer memories that last a lifetime,
that's July on Vancouver Island. This year we're starting July with skies that are
more on the greyish side, but we're putting our faith in the weather forecasters and their
confidence that a strong summer high is forming over the province. To us the essence of
the summer months is best reflected in the following:
Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass on a summer day listening to the murmur
of water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is hardly a waste of time.
