The acorns are starting to ripen, but they're not quite ready for the wood ducks yet.
Not to worry though, the wood ducks will be feasting on them in a month or two.

Ours are still green, too. The acorns look so good, and fresh, while the leaves look so tatty. What a contrast. :-)
