Red-Tailed Hawks are numerous along the country roads south of Klamath Falls. We noticed that certain spots were always populated by them and you could usually depend on seeing one or more in these areas most any time of day. I caught this one in the afternoon light, just before he took off....and for once I got one facing in the right direction, not flying away from me, which seemed to be the norm.
