The Yellow Pond Lily, also called Spatterdock, is a native water lily which grows in lakes, ponds,
and slow-moving rivers. It took me three trips to Chemainus Lake before I finally got the shot
that I wanted. By the time I got this shot the lilies were almost finished blooming.
