When I first came to Berlin in the 1980ies, I was surprised to find many kebab shops there, something completely unknown in Vienna at that time. It took another couple of years until a few kebab stands and restaurants appeared, but today it is easier to find a kebab restaurant than a traditional Austrian restaurant. Also other kinds of fast food shops (two of which can be seen in the reflections) have spread in Vienna with breathtaking speed. Although I get me a kebab sandwich for lunch from time to time, I personally prefer "slow food".
