Here is my first attempt at using the Distance Estimator Method (DEM) to duplicate the black and white images from "The Beauty of Fractals" and "The Science of Fractal Images."

I've implemented the Distance Estimator Method (DEM) documented in "The Science of Fractal Images." This attempt still did not duplicate the crisp detail shown in those books, however. See the my other attempt, which turned out much better.

The version of FractalWorks that supports DEM is still under development, and is not yet available for download.
