Hermit crab 2198 (V58)

A picture of my daughter's hermit crab, "Shelly."

Shot handheld with a Sigma EM 140 DG macro flash. I also used a Canon 500D closeup attachment on my macro lens.

So much personality in the shot, with the two eye stalks up and perky like this. Great to see the individual rings along the antennae and the tiny feeler hairs. I'd say this was a great hermit crab portrait. Kudos!
