It went below freezing for a day so I
opened up the valves on my "backflow
preventer", a valve that keeps the city
water from backing into their system
once it has entered my house or my
lawn sprinkling system. I create a very
small stream so it doesn't burst.
In any case it creates some nice ice cycles
on the nearby bushes.
