Denny Doherty, Cass Elliot, John and Michelle Phillips. One of my favorite groups at the time and I still love hearing their songs. I saw them perform live at the Baltimore Civic Center in late 1966 and I fell in love with Michelle, like many young men at the time. PBS has been airing a great documentary about them lately with great footage from their performances. Michelle Phillips is the only survivor of the group after Denny died on January 19, 2007.
My favorite song was "Look Through My Window" in late 1966 even though it wasn't one of their largest sellers. Other popular songs were:
