i remember buying a rare Genesis 45 promo ... Parrot Label in 1968 ... Silent Sun / Thats Me
This was their first single. Who knows... there could of been a stock single in the store somewhere. There were only a few dozen of these gems around . Today they sell for alot of money.
Lee's was a special store unlike any other in my life ! I loved that store.

Your dad's store was my second home. I frequently bought 45's , which I still have till today. He had a wealth of knowledge, and among the millions of records kept in the store, was able to locate a requested record. I cried when the store closed.
I still remember your dad and my appreciation for music became my lifetime hobby after visiting Lee's music Center. I still have some, not all lists. I would love to buy a copy of your laminated sheets. I do not have them all. I may be contacted at littlelulu13@mindspring.com

Lee's Music Center was owned by my parents Sol and Jeanne Aidman.
I have all the original lists laminated.
I believe George Young was a regular customer for Oldies.
The record store got started when Dad (Lee) bought the entire Royal Castle Juke Box collection of 45's when the hamburger chain went out of business.Diane Magnum did a nice feature on dad and the store on Channel 10.
I'd be interested in sharing memories of the old store with half a million 45's.
