Croatia

In April, 2011, I finally had a chance to see Croatia, a beautiful country I had always dreamt of visiting. The bus tour started from Venice, and it lasted 11 days including 1 day in Montenegro and 2 days in Slovenia.

After Yugoslavia broke up into seven countries, Croatia is the one that has the longest portion of the Adriatic coastline. Apart from the excitement of finding out which country is the most scenic one, every time when the bus went through the immigration checkpoint at the border, and the tourists had to wait to get their passports stamped, it was not quite a pleasant experience when I recalled the cruel wars and remembered Yugoslavia as one nation.
