24 JUN 04 COLOR PLANKS

I went out to the beach with a friend to do yoga again
The walk out in the soft sand nearly killed me tho!

We walked a mile (puff, grunt)
Did forty-five minutes of yoga poses (it's HARDER in sand!!!)
And walked back (puff, sweat, groan)

But I took my time & took pictures
She chose not to wait . .. .

A very enticing image, Pete - I can feel those warm planks of wood on my feet! Good for you with the Yoga thing - what a great idea (!) to do it on the beach!!

Apparently you're entire reason for being is to make ME homesick! I give up a body part (well, one of YOUR body parts anyway) to be walking somewhere like that again.
I love the shadow lines, following the boardwalk perfectly. Nice shot.

She didn't wait? Does that mean she didn't stop to appreciate this beautiful scene which you caught perfectly? This is great. I haven't checked out the BW version yet, but I am pretty sure I am going to prefer this one as I really like those warm orange tones. Well done Pete.

Might be the perfect 'boardwalk' shot. Lighting is perfect, sense of a little height, the way the walk draws you to the end. I love this! and want to be there. But the sepia is really, really cool too.
