15-MAY-04 AMERICAN SONG SPARROW NEST

Right out side my front door is a SMALL dwarf Alberta Spruce tree (bush??)
This plant is barely big enough to hold itself up, let alone house a nest

But there it is
A sparrow's nest with seven (count'm,. . . seven!!!) eggs

the inset shows one is cracking or being pecked open

Sparrows are so darn little how the devil do they produce seven eggs!!!

These eggs are barely bigger than jelly bellies!
