6tV

Was trying to get to Longview, another town close by,to pick up cristi and the kids.
This year a goal was to improve on my lightning shots.
I came outside and saw several flashes, but had to get to them.
The storm was headed their way.
I grabbed my camera set it up with settings I thought might work.
I hopped in the truck, held the camera as I drove . and got this one at 65 mph.
The reflection just to the left of the strike is the dash.
Not a great pic, but considering the modality, a special one.

Great shot! I have tried many times, and failed. Your EXIF info will come in handy as a starting place. ~V~

Great shot. I need to get some of these. Never seem to be in the right place at the right time (with the camera).

Your well on the way to reaching your goal...and have given me one more reason to stay off the roads during storms...hope you weren't on the phone and drinking coffee also!
