Tonight was dad date night with Walker.
I committed,to myself,that I would do WHATEVER he wanted,
without trying to influence him towards something I wanted.
(which is you know what)
So off to grandpa's we went to check out Uncle David's 20 year old RC car.
Next we were to go look at radio controlled planes in a nearby town.

I am proud to say that we buy very few things for our kids.
What we DO is offer them ways to make money at home,
and let them decide what they want to spend it on.
Walker is getting very thoughtful about what he wants to spend it on.
It's is GREAT when plans work.
It's not easy to be a doctors kid
who doesn't get everything he wants when a great number of his friends DO!

On top of that he said he wanted to
stop on the bridge where the derricks are AND........................
