Bzzards Over Ohio River

There are at least 15 of these Buzzards near the hospital where I work,
next to the Ohio River. They congreagate in a couple of large trees beside the Administration bldg.
It is not a pleasant thought, although they really are amazing in flight.

Although buzzards are pretty ugly, they serve a valuable role in Nature's food chain. This is a terrific representation, Carol .... love the silhouettes!

Nice triptych. They really do look graceful in flight. Photographing them in silhouette makes them look pretty.

Isaw about 6 or 7 dozen in a dead tree just the other day. I had not ever seen that many in one place. Must be migrating.
