Pays to keep a camera close by when driving.
A little close to the Pacific for Atlantic Avenue?

This is my view driving home from Costco. I shot the picture because it surprised me how really pretty california can be at times.

I was also happy to see people discuss the fact of being breathless at altitude. I was up at Bryce Canyon and at about 10,000 feet I had breathing difficulty myself. I was ashamed at the time because I was with much younger people that seemed to be able to just dance in the thin air whereas I was having considerable trouble.

As I think about it, anything above 9000 feet is problematic for me and I am somewhat happy to see that other people have concerns in this regard also.

I am not alone....lol

best wishes, Traveller

A pretty sight.
I, like Paul, remember skiing Copper Mountain. I was much younger and in good shape, but it was rugged the first day.

Spectacular view with the snow on the peaks in the high country. I’m guessing that’s mount Baldy @ 10K elevation. Highest I ever went skiing down was 12K at the top Copper Mt In Colorado. It was heavy breathing up there. Paul
