Second capture and relocate of the season, yesterday was #1 but this one wasn’t quite as camera shy as Sunday's capture.

All the deer are repeat offenders; they're all regulars. I wouldn't mind hurting them a little but have no interest in applying paint. I want to use deer repellent so they can't stand each other's smell. Then they will be less likely to dine as a pack.

The nosy neighbor lady is only two houses down the street, and she is even more frustrated with the deer than I am. She's actually very nice, though her husband rarely gets a word in when she's present.

I’ve never played paint ball but people I know that have say it hurts to get nailed by one. Maybe your on to something and shooting a deer in the @ss with bright fluorescent paint should get it’s attention and might help identify repeat offenders.
The nosey neighbor lady 4 houses up on the other side of the road might think your being inhumane tho.😉 Paul

I would love to be able to use a pellet gun. For the deer, a paintball gun shooting repellent-filled projectiles would be perfect. Extra or expired produce seems to be a reliable woodchuck attractant. Lettuce or carrots with a little peanut butter appear to be a favorite.

So how did Mr. or Mrs. Squirrel enjoy the lake?

What kind of bait do you use to attract FFF into the trap since I’m not certain what they eat. Budget birdseed from Walmart appears to be irresistible for squirrels. Maybe a pellet gun if allowed in your city. Paul

I thought about putting out the traps yesterday when I saw Fat F*ck Fred (my name for all groundhogs). I also need to apply the deer repellent.

people are living such interesting lives! I particularly like the way the sun breaks across the squirrels nose. Traveller
