I should have said AF bases in AZ stick with the Thunderbirds - at least that was what I was thinking, as these are the only air shows I attend. :-) Jim

AFB Thunderbirds only?? that’s not true, just looked it up and the blue angles have 3 shows at AFBs this year including one this weekend any Barksdale LA AFB. But you are 100% correct when you say both are great, the skill to fly and make the maneuvers they do is beyond comprehension. The only advanced military type of aircraft I ever had the privilege of flying in was a old Fairchild PT 19 WW2 primary trainer owned by one of my old customers. The aircraft was capable but the pilot wasn’t certified for aerobatics but he took us on a steep dive and pullout. That gave me the willies and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. Paul

I have only seen the Blue Angels on video. Air Force Bases stick with the Thunderbirds. Both are pretty good, imo. Jim
