Autumn Transitions

This picture has a transition from lake to trees to sky.
It also has trees that vary from unchanged to autumn colors to (in a few cases) completely bare.

This is actually a small lake that is completely surrounded by a state park. There is a trail around it which provides lots of opportunities for photography.

Love it. There are lakes near us that likely have similar scenes, and they are ringed by houses (though not so many that pictures without a house would be impossible). I have been tempted to knock on doors and ask "may I take some pictures from your backyard?".

Love this type of scene. We went for a one night camping trip yesterday and we had a similar scene that I photographed. I’ll look through them and hopefully have a few possibilities.
