Dave, I had a good piece of advice once before a major talk that I was giving. I was told, and I'll paraphrase for your situation : remember, you are the expert, you have taken photos better than anyone else in the room, and they are coming to your talk to hear you and see your work, not to harass you. Just be yourself.
Thanks Jim, but the short answer is no. I've walked through a lot of book stores and different park gift stores. Lots of people looking through the books, nobody buying them.
There are tons of books out there that not only have great photos in them, they are also written by people with some knowledge of the subjects in that photo.
I don't have that. To add to that, english is my only language, and I don't speak it very well. I would be in way over my head trying to take something like that on.
I'm doing a presentation on the 3rd at Fort Snelling on the National Parks that we've visited for the photo club. This is another thing I'm not looking forward to ... I kind of got roped into it. I'm way out of my comfort zone for this one. I prefer to stay in the background.
