The challenge is to get the background subject the perfect distance behind the droplets and that varies depending on the size of the drop and the size of the background object. Open flower heads are a popular choice. Paul

And they came out very well. I like it.
I may have to give this a try some day.

Thanks for the correction Paul, I took about 10 photographs using 3 different subjects this was the best first attempt. Car629

Actually their not reflections but rather refraction's. I had to straighten someone else on the correct terminology other day, on Facebook I think it was! None the less nice work on a subject that can be difficult sometimes. Your distance spacing looks about right! Paul

Hi Traveller it was really quite simple, I placed a white card on the floor got two books with a pane of glass placed on top/across the books. The glass was cleaned first then wiped with a product called "RainX" which helps the water stay in beads, (it is used on windscreens and can be purchased in any auto store). Then you place what ever you want to photograph under the glass, I used a table lamp to light it and added drops of water to the glass, the camera was handheld. Phew..... great fun as my daughter helped me. Car629

Very cool....could you discuss a little the technique here? Just a sentence or two. Thanks,
Traveller
