It's a mobile/sculpture with hundreds of hanging squares of colored glass suspended in rows/columns. It's in a Cornell medical center in NYC I was at the other day. The guard ended up stopping me as photography isn't permitted (and the 70-200 isn't inconspicuous) but I got a few in before that.
