I'll tell you the clean version.....when I met David for the first time I was intoxicated by those eyes. I spent many a happy evening deep in conversation and deep in those eyes. How I longed to be more than just a dinner companion. I wanted to dive into that clear, cold blue more than anything else in the world.
It took a long, long time and a lot of heartbreak for that wish to come true. Still later it did. Next time we're together, just say 'elevator' and see if either one of us is brave enough to recount the elevator tale......
