My greetings for 2014 include a small token, fruit of many-a-night under starry skies,
in the Kalahari desert (Namibia, Africa), as well as the Negev Desert (Israel).

These pictures are long exposures (many hours each, divided into 5 min. or 10 min. shots), which
are then processed with much care, using some advanced SW written especially for that purpose.

You may like to learn more about these celestial objects, which sometimes take a form of
flowers, when viewed from Earth... And imagine: our own sun and lovely planet were once
upon a time just such gas and dust, floating among someone else's starry night.
