Hodges#10967 * Xestia elimata * Southern Variable Dart

"These can be tough to distinguish. Size is the easiest way to tell them apart,
but the lack of the typical black line under both stigmata suggests elimata over badicollis.
It is also a little more uniformly colored than expected in badicollis. It appears that elimata is the more common species
in SE Massachusetts (assuming they are all correctly id'd)." ...Steven Whitebread
