It is so compacted this year. The Spring regeneration is primarily a response to the length of daylight increasing. It is a secondary response to the warming temps. This years cold winter pushed deeply into Spring and compacted some of the early bloomers and budders a little late along with the normal ones. Quite an explosion (and pollen) here.
