Westbound in the hole

Out of courtesy, crews usually dim the lights on their units when meeting opposing traffic. This one here left them on, maybe because the lights don't blind as badly in the bright daylight. Amtrak's eastbound Southwest Chief is due any minute and is lined to cross over just in front of this manifest. The big hill in the far background is Mt Taylor, a holy mountain to many Native tribes in the area, like the Hopi, Zuni, Laguna, Mesita and Navajo.
