I believe this demonstrates the unique qualities of the jpgs from the S3
this was shot org org off Auto DR 12MB Fine which I find produces very deep jpg files from the S3
note the gentle tonal transitions, even in jpg, evidence that the advantage of 14 bit ADC works for jpg capture as well
note the jaggies at the top of the second dark curved line to the left and above ...this is about as bad as the "jpg jaggies" get with the S3
oh, check out the embossed brand name on the heel of the shoe ...anyone out there doubting the shadow recovery abilities of the S3?
