On the white sands of Bahia Honda State Park, just (north) east of Key West. This was a small one, but even those can have very long stinging tentacles that extend tens of feet below the surface. Years ago I was stung by one tentacle on my wrist, while scuba diving off Miami. That was enough to know that I never want to get fully entangled with one.
