Thanks John for your comment on my Fox image... When I first spotted him, he was laying on a round bale of hay but, before I could get a picture he leaped off and then stopped to take a look back at me. I was only able to get a few images before he disappeared...

Hi John, Thanks for your nice comments on my images... Our Whitetails have been on the rise, in spite of the wolf problems. Out where we live the wolves have been increasing and the ranchers have declared war on them...

Hi John, I would say that this is a less than avarage year for show in the Park. One can see that there has been some really cold temps because of the ice build up in the creeks.. Have fun if you get up there...Gary

The image I took of the buck in velvet was taken in an area that is closed to hunting... In the past I have seen some really huge Whitetail Bucks. The last time this area was open it was a trophy hunting area...

Cottonmouths are not as deadly as people think. You realize you are more likely to die from a bee sting than a snake bite. There is a pretty good snake site out there on the topic for Arkanas snakes.
