Windber, in southwestern Pennsylvania near Johnstown, was established as a coal mining town around 1900. Migrants from many countries in southern and eastern Europe settled in the community as miners and their cultural, religious, and political heritage is still apparent in the town today. Hi I love all you pictures but you should get more pics of like Sheetz ,Bilo, The windber rec park, and people walking around windber!! Also maybe some windber houses that have been standing for a while!!
