The Kiwano is a prickly fruit.

Bought for the photo op.
It is sour-ish. Green jelly-like inside with seeds like a cucumber. I had to leave it, :-)
It will go in the compost :-)

Some kind of the cucumber... Very interesting fruit, I've never seen it in our markets. Beautiful light, color, sharpness and dof. V

Looks an exotic fruit..but after your description,think I will avoid it in the shops...interesting detail, colouring and prickly "bumps" in the skin...V
