Stress at 5 X life size

Difficult to hand hold, difficult to focus.
The Canon Macro Photo MP-E 65mm f/2.8 1-5x Manual Focus lens
sometimes causes me stress to use but when I can manage that crazy dof it is fabulous :-)
My MP-E Gallery is here

And the lens you are using is nice too... I can't see how having equipment is stressful... except right now my contacts on one lens are not working... on the kit lens that came with the camera.. I followed google directions from Nikon to clean my canon contacts..Nice work here.

The gallery is great which makes this stress a good stress. The lens is very beautiful in this photo.

A little stress is good for us they say... just a little mind you. :-) just think if it wasn't Canon, now that would be more stressful...lol..

I don't know this one but from everyone's comments it sounds like a coveted stress :) Based on the gallery it produced I think it is all worth it! Amazing macros!

I want one! I don't mind that kind of stress!!!! LOL

I dream of this lens!

It seems to me that a little bit of stress is a small price to pay for having such a great piece of equipment. And the more you practice with it, the easier it will get.
Herb 04-Nov-2011 12:21
That's why I never bought this lens

Nothing better than a Canon ~ yup! That's what I always say! :))
I can't seem to manage my macro lens handheld either ~ I always use my tripod.
Beautiful work Sheila!

Yes, I can understand that. Have one like that (although a different brand).
Janice Dunn04-Nov-2011 06:41

Cindi Smith04-Nov-2011 05:48
Yep....and more difficult if it is being hand held. I feel your pain. Nice equipment by the way!
laine04-Nov-2011 04:52

I'm still on the point and shoot, but yes, I know what you mean (thinking back to my old film SLR). V
