Carthage is one of the 52 neighborhoods that make up Cincinnati located on the west side of the city, accessible via I-75
and Paddock. It is a working class community that is home to the Hamilton County Fair and a growing hispanic population.
There is a new housing project that is nearing completion with the homes offering a new urbanism approach and a nice
break from the typical suburban architecture of recent years.
i was born in carthage and lived there 37 years. not much to look at now but when i was a kid it was a vary nice place to live. i miss the old country kitchen that was torn down to make room for white castle. and i can rember the old tv commercial that say Where Paddock meets Vine at the big Indian sign!" thanks so much your photos

I grew up in Carthage right across from the hamilton county fairgrounds in the 70's and late 80's. Thanks for your photos!
