All images were taken Indoors with No Flash and no special lights
All photographs are from the new Canon 7D Mark II

The Black Background comes entirely from ambient lighting, angles and camera settings. It is not a back drop. The only lighting used was natural window light during the day; plus a fixed, incandescent light over the kitchen table for after-dark shots.
